The competition – that launched at Spring Fair this year – was open to any company who ordered 50,000 or more envelopes in February and March this year, with one entry per 50,000 bought.

Joanne Davis, director of UK Envelope Centre said: “Despite the chaos the Beast from the East caused over the competition period, we were still able to make deliveries, so entries into the competition continued to increase. As the competition drew to a close over the Easter weekend, the number of entrants hit record figures.”

Joanne added how she was “over the moon” by the amount of old and new customers who participated in this year’s competition. “It proved to be a real race to the end. Following the success of previous competitions, we have already started planning a second competition for later this year,” she revealed.

As it was their name that was pulled out of the ‘Mad Hatter’s hat, the Museums & Galleries team was delighted to take delivery of a fabulous Tea Party Hamper that included scones, luxury tea, chocolates, jams and preserves, shortbread, ginger cake, fudge and more.

  • With its sights now set on the industry’s big card publishing competition, The Henries, The UK Envelope Centre was delighted to pledge its support as sponsor of the Honorary Achievement Award category. The Henries – the only UK awards for greeting card publishers – take place this year on October 4. Entries are now open, more details at www.thehenriesawards.co.uk.
