Thomas O’Brien, md of gift and book company, Boxer put his faith in one of the company’s products to persuade Julie Livesley to join the board as sales director – and it worked!

“Who could say ‘no’ to someone who sends you a book of a bare-chested kilted man doing yoga poses in the Scottish countryside?” Julie quipped rhetorically, making the decision to leave Talking Tables, where she was head of sales director to join Boxer recently. Prior to Talking Tables, Julie was part of the NPW sales team.

Boxer’s Thomas O’Brien, claims it was down his “stern negotiation, wit and guile,” that saw the popular executive join the growing company to strengthen its senior management team.

Ever the joker, Thomas said: “With Julie now on board, the hard work starts for me now as I have been promoted to making the tea and raking the leaves!”.
