Social action prompts Coulson Macleod to giveaway cards

Publisher rewards those who take its cards on their travels

Design-led greeting card publisher, Coulson Macleod, has launched a new social media campaign urging people to photograph one of the cards from its Quoted range while they’re on their travels. Everyone who uploads their photo to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter using #cmexplorer will be sent all six cards from the Quoted range.

Studio assistant, Danielle inspired the giveaway with her photo from Norway.

“We were inspired by Danielle (our studio assistant and product photographer) who sent us a photo of herself in Norway with one of the Quoted cards in front of the Aurland fjord,” says Hannah Macleod, co-owner of Coulson Macleod. “We just thought it was the best shot of our greeting card. EVER. Which got us thinking, wouldn’t it be great to get people to photograph this card on their travels so we end up with lots of lovely backdrops. The card is a quote from Mark Twain and part of it says: ‘Catch the trade winds in your sails, explore, dream and discover’ hence the hashtag #cmexplorer. Everyone who uploads a photo using that hashtag will get all six cards from the Quoted range.”

Coulson Macleod is exhibiting at PG Live (June 6 and 7) at London’s Business Design Centre.
