Top Drawer Opens Tomorrow!

Top Drawer returns to Olympia London tomorrow (September 12) and will run through until end of Tuesday (September 14) dishing up its design-led blend of trends, seminars and product launches galore. The first ‘real’ Top Drawer since January last year, the show’s RetailFest programme is back with a bang, with an inspiring line-up of speakers from retail experts and influencers who will share their views and experiences.

Bound to be popular will be Holly Tucker MBE (pictured top), founder of Not on the High Street and Holly & Co who will be talking to Tiwalola Ogunlesi, founder of Confident & Killing It in the Lessons Learnt and the Secrets to My Success session on Tuesday September 14 (11am). Meanwhile, Liberty Home buyer Bryony Sheridan is all poised to share her wisdom from range planning to displays and trends in a pre-recorded session entitled ‘The Consciously Curated Store – Life at Liberty) on Monday September 13 with plenty of other pearls of wisdom to be shared on the stage, as well as on the stands, no doubt!

The show will span seven distinct sectors: Greetings & Stationery; Gift (contemporary brands); Home (interiors, accessories, kitchen and dining, furniture, lighting and outdoor living); Fashion (accessories and jewellery from established brands and rising stars); Wellbeing (home fragrancing and beauty products); Craft (designer-makers); Play (gifts, toys, fashion and home accessories for children) and Food Emporium (giftable food and drink from artisans).

Among those showing in the Greetings & Stationery section include 2 To Tango, Cath Tate Cards, Ohh Deer, ArtPress Cards, Art Angels, 1973, Apple & Clover, Middlemouse, Deadpan Cards, Earlybird Designs, East End Prints, Five Dollar Shake and Rosie Made a Thing.

As show director Russell Rule highlighted, this will be the first major London gift show for 18 months. “We’re really looking forward to doing face to face business again, with exhibitor and visitor safety remaining paramount,” he added, highlighting the Covid-safe policy, which asks all attendees to prove that they are double vaccinated or have a recent negative lateral flow test result.
