Hallmark’s 30 Days Of Caring Campaign Launches Today

Today (April 13) marks the launch of Hallmark UK and ROI’s 30 Days of Caring campaign, a consumer initiative to prompt people into showing small acts of kindness and support for the greater good of humanity.

“A small act of caring can make a big difference in someone’s day. We all know that it’s true, but it made us wonder: What would happen if we all made a little more effort to let people know they matter to us? This is the idea behind 30 Days of Caring,” Kirstie Watson, Hallmark’s communications partner told PG Buzz.

The campaign centres on encouraging individuals to do one simple, thoughtful act of caring every day for the next few weeks.

To help get the ball rolling, Hallmark has come up with a list of suggestions which are different ways people can express that they care. The list is also likely to prompt people to think about who might need their help and support and also who helps and supports them.

The checklist (which is free to download https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0400/3112/5669/files/Leaflet_A4.pdf?v=1617193211) consists of three sets of 10 ideas: 10 Days of Encouragement, 10 Days of Support and 10 Days of Appreciation. These acts of caring involve cheering others on, offering your support and expressing gratitude for the caring acts of others, be it through sending a card, delivering a surprise treat or just getting in touch with a phone call.

“Our 30 Days of Caring is all about the impact you can have on the lives of people around you. We hope that it gets people thinking about those in their neighbourhood, work, school, place of worship, online communities, interest groups and other connections, and to reach out in whatever way feels right,” says Kirstie. “Will our campaign change the world? Who knows? But it’s got to be worth a try, right?!”

Participants are encouraged to share their photos and comments online with the hashtag #30DaysofCaring.
