Abbey Cards Has Been In The Running For A Month

Harry Rai, the founder of greeting card wholesaler Abbey Cards, Spot On Gifts and Party Wholesalers inspired his colleagues, business associates and friends to don their trainers and undertake a month long charity challenge of running at least a mile every day for the month of September. The Run 30 initiative raises money for the Rainbow Trust charity, which supports families who have a child aged 0-18 years with a life-threatening or terminal illness.

“This year we had 36 participants, some who have never run in their life before. We had participants from London, Essex, Midlands and even one from Cayman Island,” said Harry who, although he has now sold the business to Sunil Rakholiya is still involved ensuring a smooth handover (https://www.pgbuzz.net/the-legacies-of-abbey-cards-party-wholesale-and-spot-on-gifts-live-on-under-new-ownership/). “This year’s Run 30 was so successful, and fostered such a great feeling of camaraderie and achievement that I would like to build on it for next year and encourage many more from the greeting card world to get involved too.”

The concept of Run 30, is that participants run a mile a day anywhere and save £1 a day for the charity.
