£1,000 Woodmansterne Prize Is An ‘Arc du Triomphe’ for Just Cards’ Tom And Maureen O’Connell

There was no sinking ‘Monday morning feeling’ in Just Cards yesterday (February 25) for Tom and Maureen O’Connell, owners of the Cambridgeshire indie card shop in St Ives – in fact they were on cloud nine.

“Our Woodmansterne sales rep Chris Duplock rang to say tell us we had won a £1,000 treat of our choice from the company’s Five Star experiences as winner of its Spring Fair prize draw. It was a wonderful surprise!” Tom O’Connell told PG Buzz.

Adding extra colour and excitement to Woodmansterne’s tropical-themed stand at the show, Kate Leach, the publisher’s head of marketing explained: “As part of our Spring Fair activities, all customers placing an order went into the prize draw. It was clearly an attractive incentive as we collected loads of entries!”

It helped that the prize was very inviting – £1,000 to spend on any of Woodmansterne’s Five Star Experiences that offer a broad range of treats, from hotel sttrips away to adventures galore.

“The only tough bit is deciding where to go or what to do – at the moment a trip to Paris, Rome or Istanbul are looking the favourites!” said Maureen.
