Julie, who started in her new role on Tuesday (17 April) was latterly national sales manager for balloon company, Pioneer Europe.

Danilo sales director, Brett Smith, said: “I’ve known Julie for many years and have always admired her professionalism and can-do attitude. She always goes above and beyond to look after her customers and that’s exactly the philosophy we all have here at Danilo. Julie brings some invaluable experience and will fit in perfectly with the existing team. She’s really looking forward to sharing her experience and ideas with them whilst learning about our company, fantastic products and customers.”

Commenting on her new challenge, Julie says: “An opportunity to work for Danilo doesn’t come along very often. I was extremely happy working for Pioneer Europe, but just felt that Danilo was the right company to move back into the greeting card Industry for. The licences it holds, along with the great people they employ make it an exciting place to work.”

*This year marks Danilo’s 40th anniversary. Celebrations will begin over summer – look out for more at PG Live this year!
