As retailers and publishers across the industry finalise their credits from the sale of Christmas cards, the host of charities who benefit from their respective Christmas card agreements are ready and waiting to put these much appreciated funds to good use.

Among these is Helpcards, a charity concern that benefits 32 different charities, which has something special to celebrate this year. The £100,000+ the charity will receive from Noel Tatt, as a result of the sale of the Christmas packs the Kent-based card publisher sold to retailers in 2017, means that this long-running relationship, which dates back to 2001, has seen £1.5 million being donated to Helpcards.

Commenting on reaching this significant £1.5 million milestone, Michael Griffiths, sales manager of Noel Tatt, accepts that it is a gratifying triumph. “It is wonderful to think that through our retail customers stocking them, and the consumers buying them, that our Christmas cards have been able to do so much good, providing much needed funds for a broad reach of charities.”

The 32 charity stakeholders that collectively form and own Helpcards, span from well-known charity brands (such as Barnardo’s, Macmillan Cancer Support and RNLI) to smaller, less well-known causes, such as Treloar’s (a school for disabled children in Hampshire), The Docklands Settlements (a network of amenity centres in deprived areas of London) and the Rare Breeds Survival Trust (a UK conservation charity that protects rare breeds of farm livestock).

Noel Tatt has launched its Help collection for 2018, comprising 62 designs across two price points – £2.99 (on which a 30p donation is made to the charity) and £3.99 (which sees 40p being donated as a result of each pack being sold).

Noel Tatt will be showing the Help collection on its stand at Spring Fair (February 4-8) next month in Hall 3-3A, Stand K14-L15.
