Caroline’s fashionable collaboration

Two fashion graduates ‘dress’ the window of the publisher’s Marylebone shop

Awareness continues to build for the Caroline Gardner brand with its recent activities with two fashion graduates having a positive halo effect for retail stockists of its card and gift products.

Caroline and team have been delighted to work alongside Chloe Whiting and Chloe Menzies, two graduates from design college Ravensbourne University, to create an eye catching window display in the brand’s showcase store in London’s Marylebone. The window incorporated dresses by the two graduates used as part of the recent launch of Caroline Gardner’s latest collection. And this has been backed up by a consumer PR campaign.

Caroline said: “We at Caroline Gardner are proud to support young, creative talent and offer these graduates an opportunity to showcase their designs away from university, in a commercial environment. I started my business making greeting cards at my kitchen table, so I know that everyone must start somewhere. We look forward to seeing what bright futures these designers have in front of them.”

The Caroline Gardner company has recently appointed leading PR agency, Task PR, which also represents Graduate Fashion Week – which resulted in the collaboration with the graduates. Caroline herself loved Chloe Whiting’s botanical, hand drawn prints – which she paired with the brand’s sleek leather bags to contrast with the natural elements of the prints – and was drawn to Chloe Menzies bold use of clashing colours.

The window added to the interest of a press preview breakfast held at the shop on Marylebone High Street last week, which was attended by journalists from more than 20 prestigious publications, including Red, Marie Claire and Country Homes & Interiors.

As Luca Bridges, senior sales and marketing co-ordinator told PG Buzz at the recent launch of its latest gift and accessories collection at Harrogate Home & Gift: “The consumer press coverage as a result of our PR activity will support our retail stockists highlighting the brand to the consumer and driving business to them.”
