Plans are taking shape for this year’s Thinking of You Week (25 Sept – 1 Oct). Adding their support to help raise awareness and encourage engagement, leading greeting card printers and third part fulfilment companies have committed to produce and distribute specially designed Thinking of You Week flyers that for publishers to send to retailers along with their orders.

“Thanks to the support from our associate members, it is conceivable that there will be a flyer in almost every card box delivered into retail throughout the summer which will encourage as many retailers as possible to get involved in promoting the Thinking of You Week,” said the GCA’s ceo, Sharon Little.

The leaflet has been designed by Miki Rose of GBCC and will be printed by: Hello Cards, Graphite Creative, The Imaging Centre, Loxleys, Johnsons of Nantwich, Printed.com, The Sherwood Press and Windles. Publishers can order their flyers direct from their printer. LB Warehousing and 2WL are the warehousing/distribution companies also taking part.

These flyers are in addition to a downloadable toolkit of ToYW assets on the GCA website, publishers can stock up on the free Thinking of You Week printed flyers to send out to retailers to promote the Week.

This is the second year running that printers that are, GCA associate members have agreed to print thousands of ToYW flyers free of charge, highlighting the benefit of retailers getting involved in the week long initiative.
