The Peaky Blinders From Danilo Triumph At The Licensing Awards

Danilo’s Peaky Blinders’ collection of greeting cards, calendar and giftwrappings triumphed in the prestigious UK Licensing Awards in the Best Paper Products or Stationery Range.

The trophy was presented at a lavish and lively awards event, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel earlier this week, which was attended by 1,000 people and hosted by Tom Allen.

Joining the massive congregation at the event were representatives from Hallmark, UKG, Moonpig, Emotional Rescue, Pyramid, Card Factory, Amscan and Paper Salad as well as the Danilo team, who were delighted to accept the prestigious trophy.

Other contenders for this award were Animal Crossing Villager Squares stationery collection from Pyramid InternationalThe Beatles Song Titles greeting card range from Hype AssociatesBoofle Stay at Home greeting card range from MoonpigThe Gruffalo stationery range from Robert FrederickThe Mandalorian – The Child greeting card range from UK GreetingsMinnie Mouse Positivity Collection from Hallmark CardsOnly Fools and Horses 40th anniversary stamp collection from Royal Mail and Spitting Image greeting cards range from Emotional Rescue.

Sharing his delight at winning the award, Dan Grant, licensing director of Danilo said: “We were up against some tough competition, as always, in this category, so to walk away with the trophy is a real honour and a reflection of the hard work that the team at Danilo has put into creating and selling this range at retail.”

Hoping for a ‘double’, Dan added: “We ate now looking forward to The Henries awards where our Peaky Blinders range is nominated for Best Licensed Card Range. However right now it’s time to ‘Go Fetch the Cake’ and celebrate….”
