The London Stationery Show finished on a high yesterday (25 April) with winners having been announced for the 2018 Stationery Awards, a new venue for its sibling Manchester show as well as new branding for next year’s show.
Over 155 suppliers and more than 300 brands took part in the London Stationery Show at the Business Design Centre over the past two days. The show included several new features, including the first ever Stationery Trends Hub – a display curated by trend forecasting agency Scarlet Opus using exhibitor product to highlight global consumer and design trends that will affect the stationery industry in 2019 and beyond. There was also the new Designer Area at the show, alongside the Stationery Trends Hub, to encouraging high end designers to join the show and be part of this unique stationery industry event.
It was also announced at the Show that the Manchester show (held for the first time last year) will have a new venue – Emirates Old Trafford over 9-10 October.
The show’s first day culminated in a drinks reception attended by exhibitors and buyers where the winners of the 2018 Stationery Awards were announced.
Henri Davis, the judges’ panel chairman said about the awards: “We have really enjoyed seeing such an interesting cross section of new products being entered and from such a variety of new and established suppliers.”
