IG Design Group has completely revamped the greeting card selection in Poundland stores, giving it a whole new look and new formats.
The new range which is on sale in stores now is “a complete overhaul,” according to Laura Baxter, head of creative for IG Design Group, including new card formats and all new designs.
“We recognise the greetings card market has become increasingly trend and innovation led over recent years,” says David Jackson, channel controller for IG Design Group All Year Round Cards. “Consumers have the same high expectations of the single greetings cards offer in value and high street retailers as they do in specialist card retailers. Our latest collaboration brings the Poundland greetings card offer right up to date with the latest market trends and finishes, with a contemporary, innovative, high quality range at an extremely competitive price point.”
The range of 258 cards features 3D/pop-up and special folds as well as die cuts. The cards which are on sale in all 790 Poundland stores have been promoted by Poundland’s internal marketing team who has been showcasing some of the designs through social media on Instagram and Twitter.

They also manage the product sampling team who are an extension to the Creative Studio.
