UKG meets Met Gala

Publisher ramps up greetings designs links with fashion industry

Trends influence greeting card designs and none more so than those that come out of the fashion world, especially red carpet looks.

And UK Greetings has taken the link to the max by picking card designs to echo some of the incredible frocks seen at Vogue’s annual Met Gala last week.

Following on from the publisher’s trip to the Oscars back in March, it has been back on social media sharing card creations that match outfits from what’s officially called the Costume Institute Benefit, an annual haute couture fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum Of Art’s Costume Institute in Manhattan, which is organised by fashion bible Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

This year’s theme was officially Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion with a secondary explanation of Garden Of Time – which may be the reason behind some of the more daring dresses sported by the actors, pop stars, comedians, models, influencers and entrepreneurs who walked the red carpet!
