Publishers in Licensing Awards 2022 finals

Woodmansterne, Danilo, Cardology, Tache Crafts and Moonpig up for award

Greeting cards have hit the headlines in The Licensing Awards 2022 with the announcement of finalists across all categories.

Cardology, Danilo, Moonpig, Tache Crafts and Woodmansterne are five of the nine finalists in the Best Licensed Paper Products Or Stationery Range category of these revered awards, which once again attracted a phenomenal number of entries from those who produce licensed merchandise.

“We’re delighted to be nominated,” Dan Grant, Danilo’s licensing director, told PG Buzz, “it’s great news that our Squid Game product range has reached the finals of the Licensing Awards.

“it’s an award for the team who signed the licence, produced the stock and got it into retail within a couple of weeks – a true team effort between Danilo, Netflix and CAA-GBG to get this range into the market so quickly.”

Commenting on Woodmansterne’s place in the finals Kate Leach, the publisher’s head of marketing, added: “We are absolutely delighted to be nominated for our Nadiya Hussain range. Nadiya was an absolute joy to work with and we’re incredibly proud of the range using her unique phraseology and exciting sentiments – everyone is delighted with the outcome. And it’s nice to be recognised by the industry with the awards nomination.”
