With just over three months to go, plans for the 2018 PG Live are taking shape, with an exhibitor meet taking place next Tuesday (27 February at London’s Business Design Centre, home of the show) to ensure the strong line-up of exhibitors maximise the opportunities in the run-up to the 10th anniversary show (which takes place June 5 and 6).

The meeting is open to anyone exhibiting at the show, but is particularly targeted at those exhibiting for the first time.

Kelvyn Gardner, md of LIMA UK, the licensing industry’s trade association is giving a talk, about how licensing works and the pros and cons of licensing of publisher’s licensing their artwork to third parties.

“This exhibitor meeting is a great chance for all new exhibitors to find out more about the nuts and bolts of PG Live,” says Jacqui Parr, marketing manager of PG Live. “We go through multifarious details, including setting up, packing up, marketing, logistics and so much more. It’s a brilliant chance to meet the PG Live team and ask those niggly little questions that are worrying exhibitors.”

The meeting’s agenda will cover the marketing plans for the show – including the ‘card dresses’, ‘Gold, Silver and Sunshine tickets’ – as well as special features (not least the free lunch and opening night party).

“It is a big year for us, and we will have some exciting new features for this year” says Jacqui. “The show goes from strength to strength and is now a must-visit show for anyone involved in the greeting card industry. So many of our exhibitors choose to unveil new collections and products at the show and with visitors from all the major retailers and overseas distributors, it is the one show people don’t want to miss.”
