Tuesday’s free Fedrigoni workshop will explain about choosing best papers for cards
Publishers can find out the best papers for their greeting cards thanks to a special Fedrigoni workshop on Tuesday, 21 November – that’s completely free for GCA members.
The paper specialist is running the event at its London Studio, 67 Clerkenwell Road, EC1R 5BL, with the aim of explaining everything you’ve wanted to know about choosing the best board, but were too afraid to ask!

With topics including environmental credentials, FSC Recycled vs FSC Mix, carbon-balanced paper, and the best stock for cards, Fedrigoni is hosting the workshop in partnership with the GCA.
Fedrigoni UK’s commercial manager Ian Braithwaite said: “Uncertain of the environmental credentials that matter? Carbon balanced and FSC, what does it mean? We’ll show you why and how to carbon offset your greeting card boards. The workshop will explain the difference between FSC Recycled and FSC Mix, plus the implications of promoting on your website.

“We’ll also explain and show you the different types of boards which can be used to make greeting cards, and how they can make your cards stand out.”
And the event is also aimed at helping network within the industry as it starts at 3pm on Tuesday, with the presentation kicking off at 3.30pm, followed by a Q&A session, with the aim of finishing by 5pm – to attend for free book a ticket here.

Then the industry chat will continue at the nearby Crown Tavern in Clerkenwell Green where the latest GCA Local will run from 5.30-8.30pm – tickets are £10 including one drink.
