Publisher shortlisted in Printweek Awards environmental category
Woodmansterne is flying the flag for greeting cards in the Printweek Awards 2025 as the publisher is the only nominee from the industry in this year’s finals.
The publisher, which has its own printing facilities at its Watford and Milton Keynes plants, is one of seven named in the Environmental Company Of The Year Large Enterprise category.

“It’s exciting news! We’re thrilled to be shortlisted,” said MD Seth Woodmansterne. “Sustainability has been at the heart of Woodmansterne since the 1980s. Our commitment goes beyond creating a completely plastic-free product range – it’s embedded in how we operate.
“Being a finalist for this award is a testament to our ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental impact and drive positive change in our industry.”

Famed as the biggest night in print, the Printweek Awards have 17 categories – the full finalists’ list can be seen here – and the publisher is up against Cubiquity, Eight Group, Micropres, The Encore Group, Tradeprint and Webmart for the trophy with the winners to be announced on 6 March at the black tie ceremony at London’s Brewery.
The full details of Woodmansterne’s sustainability journey can be seen in Progressive Greetings magazine’s January issue.
