UKG Strengthens Its Own Disney Story As Toy Story 4 Screens In Cinemas

UK Greetings has broadened its portfolio of licensed Disney products having signed an agreement with the mega entertainment company for 3D products (giftbags, rollwrap and packaged wrap) under its Collage brand. 

Collage, which previously held a Disney licence between 2013 and 2016 is now offering a Disney Core collection lhat features designs and formats from best-selling Disney card ranges and carries them across into 3D product for Avengers, Toy Story 4, Spiderman, Star Wars, Disney Princess, Winnie The Pooh and from October, Frozen 2.

Katie Prosho, UKG’s customer and product manager for Collage comments, “2019 is set to be a huge year for Disney with some mega movies hitting our screens! We’re excited to have the opportunity to once again support Disney with the launch of our new 3D product and think it’s sure to be a hit with retailers and customers”.

This news as one of the year’s hotly tipped Disney movies, Toy Story 4 is about to hit the big screens this Friday (June 21).

As previously reported on PG Buzz, UKG got behind the launch of this incredibly popular family film franchise, offering an extra incentive to retailers to order the dedicated shipper of its Toy Story 4 greeting cards. The names of all retailers ordering were put into a prize draw with the winner receiving a £250 voucher to spend with the Disney Store. Well, in true fairytale style, Ryan and Chris Jenkins of The Celebration Store in Hampshire’s Waterlooville had their dreams come true as the shop’s name was ‘pulled out of the hat’.

Commenting, Ryan Jenkins said: ‘’We are always eager to support UK Greetings with any new opportunity. The superb Toy Story 4 card range designs displayed on the unique Display unit is another example.” Sharing why he believes it is crucial to stay ontrend with popular culture, he added:‘’ In the current retail environment it is important we continue to offer our customers the latest up to date product to remain the destination card shop. The Toy Story 4 main characters are iconic and will appeal to a wider range of age groups this time round.’’

* UKG is hosting a consumer competition on its Facebook page tomorrow Friday 21, the day the film releases, to win a bundle of Toy Story 4 cards and £100 Disney Store voucher.
