Retailers register to receive their free Show Preview
With only six weeks to go until PG Live opens registration is ramping up to ensure retailers, overseas distributors and licensing folk don’t miss out on attending the world’s greatest specialist greeting card trade fair.
The show is at London’s Business Design Centre over Tuesday and Wednesday, 6-7 June, and it’s easy to register for your free ticket just by clicking here, then you’ll be set to join the wonderful two-day global gathering of the greeting card community.
Everybody who’s anybody will be at the event billed as “the greatest greeting card show in the world”, from the biggest names of Hallmark on stand 211, UK Greetings (400), and Woodmansterne (301), right through favourites such as The Art File (200), Bug Art (518), Museums & Galleries (218/219), Rosie Made A Thing (500), Abacus Cards (300), Carte Blanche (222), Caroline Gardner (404), Dandelion Stationery (517), Cinnamon Aitch (231), Wendy Jones-Blackett (235), Danilo (312), Emotional Rescue (412), Ling Design (228), Ohh Deer (316), Pigment (313), and Belly Button Designs (317), all the way to the complete newbies in Springboard Intro.
This latest innovation is sponsored by The Imaging Centre, which has its own stand 600, to celebrate the printer’s 10th anniversary of sponsoring the whole Springboard area, with the inaugural Springboard Intro giving newbie exhibitors an even easier way to debut at PG Live at a special price.
Many retailers and distributors will soon be receiving personal invitations as The Imaging Centre has just produced a record 8,500 postcards for exhibitors to send to their customers and friends as a reminder that the favourite greetings trade show of the year is on the horizon.
And the Gold, Silver and Sunshine tickets – also printed by The Imaging Centre, on board donated by GF Smith – for The Retas and Greats Awards 2022 winners and finalists are being sent out shortly, giving an even bigger reason to attend as these give up to £150 to spend on orders placed at the show.
“What we started as a one off in the early years of the show as an extra incentive for retailers to attend PG Live has become part of its DNA,” said Warren Lomax, PG Live show director. “The tickets have been a great success, with both retailers and exhibitors getting so excited about spending and receiving tickets at the show. It really adds to the buzz.”
The full list of PG Live exhibitors can be found here – and it’s worth keeping an eye on the online list as last-minute companies are squeezed into the floor plan – but to help everyone see who will be there and start to plan their visit, the finishing touches are just being put to the fantastic PG Live Preview which will be sent out very shortly.
And remember, you can also check out the iconic wearable art that is the meeters and greeters’ dresses made completely of cards by theatrical costumier Sharon Harvey, with this year’s themes of Summer Brights. Green Seen & Bleu-n Away, Animal Magic, and Diversity & Inclusion.
But there’s more – there’s always more with PG Live! Don’t forget, there’s a delicious free lunch for everyone on both days, plus complimentary tea and coffee available from the roving trollies, along with the fabulous first-night party at the end of the opening day on Tuesday where everyone is very welcome to pop in to enjoy the drinks and great company.
With all that delicious greeting card newness and the warmth of the industry to look forward to, make sure you’re registered to attend PG Live 2023 on 6-7 June by clicking here – it’s an absolute fixture on the greeting card calendar!
