Scribbler to cook up a storm at PG Live

Greeting card multiple Scribbler has a lot on its plate already, not least a trio of prominently located new shops to open in the next few weeks. Yet, it has added in an ‘extra ingredient’, by pledging to sponsor the lunchroom at the imminent Progressive Greetings Live 2018 trade exhibition (June 5 and 6 at London’s Business Design Centre).

Commenting, John Procter, co-founder of Scribbler said: “It’s PG Live’s 10th anniversary this year. It seems wholly appropriate that we pay tribute to a show that has put ‘food on the table’ for so many of us in the greeting card sector, including Scribbler, for the last decade.”

With the 260+ exhibitors putting the final touches to the thousands of new designs that will deliver a feast for the eyes for retailers and overseas distributors visiting the show, Liam Keating and Jean Betts, the ‘big cheeses’ of the Good Eating Company, (the talented in-house catering team at the Business Design Centre) have honed the lunch menu for both days of the show, which will be served up free of charge for exhibitors and visitors alike.

“Yes, there are some amazing new product ranges set to launch that will blow even the most discerning buyer’s socks off; yes the buyers of the UK’s leading greeting card retailers have registered to attend and yes, we have received confirmation that so many major overseas distributors have their flight tickets booked. And on top of this, in response to the public outrage last year, YES, the PG Live legendary veggie lasagne is back on the menu!” assured PG Live’s marketing manager, Jacqui Parr.
