Exaclair sponsors headline Saturday as website goes live and marketing webinar announced
Things are hotting up for National Stationery Week as more sponsors for the annual event have been announced and the revamped website is now fully live with downloadable resources along with an interactive map so consumers can find their nearest stationery store.
The links give retailers and stationery lovers the chance to show how they’re joining in with NSW, which this year runs over Monday to Sunday, 12-18 May, so the dates mean it encompasses the London Stationery Show on the Tuesday and Wednesday,

Sarah Laker, owner of Stationery Supplies in Marple and Wilmslow, is the event ambassador heading up the seven-week countdown as well as the daily activities during the week itself – and she’s also organised a free Get It Write webinar to help retailers make the most of marketing their involvement.
Exaclair is now on board sponsoring the main headline day on Saturday, 17 May, for the first time along with weeks two and four of the countdown through its brands Clairefontaine and Exacompta, and Mitsubishi Pencil Company with its Posca brand, Eco-eco Stationery, Pilot Pen and Manuscript Brands have also joined as sponsors, alongside The Art File, 3M, Maped Helix, Pentel, Snopake, Staedtler and Zebra Pen.
And 3M has stepped up to sponsor the new website, with key account executive Mollie Lacey saying: “We’re proud to sponsor National Stationery Week because it provides a fantastic platform to promote stationery brands and showcase the creativity and joy that quality stationery brings to people’s lives. It’s a great cause that celebrates the importance of writing, drawing and organisation, which are still vital in both personal and professional settings.”

Sarah is particularly pleased with the website and its map of over 100 stationery stores: “With 3M’s partnership we’ve created a space where we can inspire, educate, and celebrate the power of stationery in both personal and professional settings. We can’t wait for everyone to explore the site and discover the wealth of information and resources it has to offer.”
Another resource for retailers is the 45-minute webinar which is set to take place on Wednesday, April 9, at 7.30pm, led by Karen Webber from Goodness Marketing, who advocates “simple stress-free marketing.
Karen added: “So many businesses struggle with overwhelm when it comes to marketing, and my goal is to show them that visibility doesn’t have to be complicated – it can be fun, creative, and effective.
“National Stationery Week is a fantastic opportunity to engage with a ready-made audience, and I want to help businesses of all sizes make the most of it.
“This webinar is packed with practical, no-fuss strategies that align with my philosophy: marketing that feels good, does good, and gets good results. I can’t wait to inspire stationery brands to embrace this brilliant campaign with confidence!”
Companies which already know the value of NSW are the sponsors. As Lawrence Savage, marketing manager of Exaclair, commented: “Having had tremendous engagement from our involvement last year, we are delighted to be supporting National Stationery Week once again.

“It has quickly become an integral part of the stationery industry’s annual calendar, and its success is a testament to Sarah’s hard work as the driving force behind this worthy initiative. With a host of new products and competitions to showcase over the period, we’re so excited for the 2025 schedule.”
Sarah added: “As we continue to build excitement for National Stationery Week, it’s fantastic to see even more brands come on board as sponsors. Their support plays a key role in helping us celebrate stationery and creativity across the UK.
“With each new sponsor, we move closer to delivering an exciting and engaging week for both industry professionals and stationery enthusiasts alike. We’re looking forward to seeing even more innovation and collaboration as we count down to May.”
A new sponsor for 2025 is Eco-eco Stationery, and business development and sales support Eliza Faulkner said: “We are thrilled to be supporting NSW – as a small business, contributing to the stationery community is incredibly important to us. It’s a privilege to be involved alongside some fantastic companies. It’s is set to be a brilliant year for Eco-eco, with plenty of new products and a website revamp, and we can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been up to and what we’ve got planned.”

Taking on week five of the countdown is long-time NSW supporter Pilot Pen, with marketing manager Adam Smith commenting: “We are passionate about it because we believe in the power of handwriting in a digital world.
“Writing by hand enhances creativity, learning, and self-expression, and we are proud to celebrate the joy of putting pen to paper. This event allows us to inspire people of all ages to embrace writing while showcasing our innovative, high-quality, and sustainable pens.
National Stationery Week strengthens our connection with stationery lovers, educators, and professionals, reinforcing the importance of handwriting in everyday life. We are proud to support this initiative and keep the art of writing alive.”
