Lark opens 10th London store

Four more stores to follow Chiswick opening over next 12 weeks

A fast turnaround has seen gift, greeting card and lifestyle retailer Lark open its 10th London store, this time in Chiswick, within just a few days of getting the keys to the new building – and a further four Lark stores are due to open over the next 12 weeks.

“We were open less than 10 days after getting the keys for the new shop,” co-owner Priya Aurora-Crowe told PG Buzz about the Chiswick opening.

Priya and her husband and co-owner Dominic Crowe were very busy bees in the few days after picking up the keys with Dom undertaking all the building work and carpentry himself while she focused on the merchandising and stocking of the shop, which includes Redback Cards, James Ellis, and Louie Awards 2022 winners Tache Crafts among its greeting card offer.

To celebrate, there was a grand opening at the Chiswick shop, and Priya added: “We had over 500 free gifts for anyone who followed us on social media in the store. We did this until the free gifts ran out which took about four days.”

“Customer feedback has been absolutely amazing, with everyone super-welcoming to us,” Priya added about customers’ reception to the new store, which opened its doors on April 9. “The Easter weekend was fantastic and Chiswick performed the best out of all our stores. The selection of products is the same across all Lark stores which has made our expansion easier.”
