Bright and bold collection boots up attention with Leeds pop-up showcase
Giant cowboy boots will be lassoing attention at Leeds Trinity Shopping Centre shortly as Hallmark and freelance creative Liz Harry collaborate on a new collection.
Known for her bright and bold illustrations, Liz has come up with five designs for the publisher’s Magical Botanicals 3D range, which will be showcased at the centre on Monday, 17 March, in a 24-hour pop-up display.
Liz is a crafter, illustrator and inspirational artist whose work centres on mental health and she puts her love of colour into various products, including prints, enamel pins and greeting cards.
“To launch the cards, we’re doing a mini pop-up showcase in Leeds Trinity, with some giant cards – think 9ft cowboy boot filled with flowers,” Hallmark head of marketing Jess Lovelace told PG Buzz.
“The space will be a bright and bold garden of paper flowers, we will be showcasing the new collection – big and small versions – running a competition to win prizes, and Liz will also be attending the event.
“It’s been a very speedy turnaround, so we’re still in the creation stages. The cards are for everyday, but also perfect for Mother’s Day.”
The fully-recyclable range includes a vase of flowers, cowboy boot, and pink swan, and each 3D design comes with a pack of stickers.
