Grab your t-shirt to join PG Live photo op and help Pancreatic Cancer UK
If you love cards then Choose-day at PG Live 2025 is going to be a big one, with a fabulous photo opportunity on the show’s first day and charity support into the bargain.
And to get into the Choose-day spirit, you need to order one of the limited-edition Choose Cards t-shirts which have a special 10% discount for PG Live visitors and exhibitors, while £2 from each sale will go to Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of Emotional Rescue’s much-missed long-time product manager Toni Cresswell.

Created by indie retailer and publisher Matt Simpson, of The Letter Arty in Manchester, Choose Cards has grown from his own personal shirt – taking inspiration from the slogan shirts of the 80s – into an industry-wide movement: “It’s become a must-have item for both publishers and retailers alike!”
Following two sold-out runs of the shirts, Matt has now added two more colours so there’s the original red or white, plus pink and black to choose from, hopefully widening the appeal to get as many people into the special Choose-day photo on the stairs at PG Live on Tuesday, 3 June, at 3pm.
Matt added: “I wanted it to do more than just sell some t-shirts, so donating a portion of sales to charity seemed like an obvious choice.

“With the ongoing issues facing the industry such as increasing postage cost and copyright issues, I think it’s been a case of good timing that the Choose Cards t-shirts have been so popular. I’m really pleased to have played a small part in encouraging people to choose cards and start conversations about the joy that our industry brings.”
To minimise waste, the t-shirts need to be pre-ordered by 29 April through Matt’s website here at £24 each, with a 10% discount for exhibitors with the code PGLIVE and for visitors using code PGVISITOR, to keep track of who’s ordering.
“I’m hoping to sort a handful of spares to sell at the show for anyone who’s missed out – but it won’t be many because I’m coming down by train so can’t carry loads, and I don’t want to have any left over!” Matt laughed.
PG Live takes place at London’s Business Design Centre on Choose-day (Tuesday!) and Wednesday, 3-4 June. The full exhibitor list can be found here, and to register to attend click here.
